Care Instructions

We really hope you love your new jewellery!

All our jewellery is handmade and hand polished which means there will always be an organic feel to the piece. We never try to create a factory ‘mass produced’ effect with our jewellery as we feel it would take something away from it. There may be some markings on the back or slight imperfections on the surface but we leave these in for a reason. We hope that you agree that any small imperfections add to the jewellery’s uniqueness and charm, but if for any reason you are unhappy please do let us know. We can always polish the item further for you but there is a risk that the print will fade due to the additional rubbing. If you have chosen to have your jewellery oxidised in order to bring out the detail of the prints further please note that the darkness of the oxidisation in each piece will vary. Please note that silver, does tarnish over time, this is just the nature of it. If your item does become tarnished, use the polishing cloth to remove it.

In order for your jewellery to last you a lifetime, and remain as good as new, please follow our care instructions below.

  • Always remove your jewellery when applying perfume and lotions
  • Never wear your jewellery whilst in the bath/shower or when swimming. Chlorine is very damaging to your jewellery
  • Use the polishing cloth provided on a regular basis, however, please be careful not to rub the print too vigorously, as this may wear away the detail of the print.
  • Store your jewellery in the grip seal bag provided

Before June 2019 all our jewellery was made from 99.9% solid fine silver, unless you specifically requested sterling silver. We have now made the business decision to make all our jewellery from sterling silver.

Our sterling silver is 95% silver, and 5% copper. The copper makes the silver stronger and more hard wearing.

Please note that we are unable to remake jewellery free of charge if an item becomes damaged due to eventual wear and tear.
