Our three hours workshops will give you an introduction into jewellery making using the fabulous material of Precious Metal (Silver) Clay.

Silver clay is made up of very fine particles of pure silver, water and a non –toxic, organic binder. When your piece is fired, the binder burns away, leaving you with pure solid fine silver.

Guided by your instructor, Charlotte, you’ll learn the basics of working with silver clay, how to handle it, roll, shape, and texture it, before drying and refining, then onto torch firing, polishing and finally learning how to patina.

You will create two pendants, and they will both be ready to take home with you on the day!

The workshop cost of £65 and includes 7 grams of silver clay, use of tools on the day, sterling silver jump rings, printed notes to take home and of course, tea / coffee and biscuits.

This workshop is perfect for those with no experience of working with silver clay.

None of the dates suitable? no problem, just drop us an email and we will schedule a date for you!

This course is run by Charlotte Wakeling, who is founder and designer at Felix & Reuben Keepsake Jewellery, based in Hinckley, South West Leicestershire. Charlotte is an experienced jeweller with a degree in jewellery and silversmithing.
