PLEASE NOTE that this workshop will take place at The BREWery, 22 High Street, Sileby, LE12 7RX on Saturday 22nd August 2026 – 10am – 2pm – 10am – 2pm

 

Join us on this fabulous four hour Stacking Rings workshop, where you’ll make THREE Stacking Rings from Sterling Silver (you could even make one of the bands from copper should you wish) this makes a lovely contrast against the silver.

You will use 1.5mm sterling silver, round wire to make all three of your rings.

You’ll be guided through the whole process of making your stacking rings by your tutor. The day will start with measuring your chosen finger, then you’ll learn how to calculate the length of silver needed for each ring (please note that all stacking rings will be measured for the same finger)

You will texture, and saw your metal to size, before shaping and refining, ready to be soldered. Once you’ve soldered and pickled your ring, there will be further refining and polishing to be done. You will repeat the above process for all three of your stacking rings.

Your stacking rings will be ready to wear upon leaving the workshop.

The cost of the workshop is £80 per person and includes the use of tools and all the silver / copper to make your stacking rings.

This workshop is suitable for beginners to silversmithing.

Full payment is taken to secure your place on a workshop. Please note that we can only provide refunds or transfers to another date, in the event of a workshop being cancelled due to insufficient numbers of students or unforeseen circumstances. If this happens, you will be notified and full payment will be refunded or a different course date offered.
Please note that NO transfers or refunds will be given for workshops missed due to holidays or any other personal reasons. Please ensure that you can attend on the chosen date before making payment and committing to the date.
If you are ill (including Covid) please do not attend, and we will offer a different workshop date, however, you must have let us know before the workshop takes place, in order for a different date to be offered. If you only let us know during the scheduled workshop or after the workshop has taken place, an alternative date will NOT be offered and NO refund will be given.
The only instance where a refund will be provided is if the workshop is cancelled due to insufficient numbers or unforeseen circumstances. A refund will not be provided in any other circumstance, only a different date offered
